    Jacob Presley, Photographer-Reporter

He grew up in the 60’s and 70’s and he said there were only three TV channels. “You watched what your parents said you watched. So literally, I grew up listening to the radio all the time. I listened to sports broadcasts at night on the little transistor radio - like The Cardinals, Jack Buck, and Harry Caray. I just dreamed of one day being the broadcaster for the St. Louis Cardinals,” said Mike Crase. Although he never made it to the ...

    Eating My Way Thin

    Morgan Archer, Correspondent

Growing up I was never thin. I have never been the "ideal" weight. I grew up on fatty, cheap meals and ate whatever I wanted to eat. I always knew I was overweight, but I just complained about it instead of "doing" something about it. If I did do something it would be a fad diet or diet pills. I can't believe I even thought about it, but I also contemplated making myself throw up, otherwise known as bulimia-a serious disease that can even eventually...

Morgan's Tip No. 5: Take progress pictures! Losing actual pounds is great, but your weight can vary from different factors (and might even make you give up). However, taking progress pictures can really show your progression and inspire you to keep going. Take the front, side, and back angles each month to be able to see how you have really transformed.
